A Kid-Friendly Weekend Getaway in Lodi, California

Lodi, California holds a special place in my heart. I owned an Airbnb here for seven years, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, I called Lodi home. My son, Ryder Arnold, lived in Lodi between the ages of 2 and 4, and we've visited often, even spending maternity and paternity leave at our rental after our babymoon in Hawaii. I've celebrated countless holidays, including our annual Easter celebrations, in Lodi and have come to know all the family-friendly gems it has to offer. Here's your weekend guide to vacationing in Lodi with kids.

After arriving and settling into your accommodations—consider one of the cozy, family-friendly Airbnb options at Lodi Landing—take a stroll around Lodi Lake. The nature trail is stroller-friendly and peaceful, and you’ll often spot turtles, deer, and other wildlife.
