The World's Most Amazing Vacation Rentals
Well, Netflix's 'The World's Most Amazing Vacation Rentals' is your passport to explore some of the most extraordinary getaways that travelers can only dream of.
Hosted by an adventurous trio of travelers – Megan Batoon, Jo Franco, and Luis D. Ortiz – this captivating series takes you on a whirlwind tour across the globe. Each episode is a delightful mix of travel exploration, design inspiration, and incredible hospitality experiences.
This show is a bit dramatic but very entertaining. It takes place in Australia, and it’s a battle of the hosts for who has the best rental. The short term rental owners all go and stay together at each other's rental spaces, and rate them on what they find, from pricing to cleanliness, decor and more. There is a grand prize for the winning team – in season 1, it’s an all-expenses-paid trip to California, to stay at the Airbnb of an unnamed “star” – in season 2 it’s $10,000 to spiff up their rental. The two seasons are very different, but full of cutthroat drama. You can also see a lot of great things, and not so great things, these hosts do with their rentals.
This show is a bit different from the others, as it’s not on Netflix, and it starts from the very beginning of the journey – the purchase of a property specifically for a short term rental. This is really worth watching if you’re planning to purchase a new short term rental.
