Lodi Restaurants

Lodi is such a fun town to explore—famous for wine and equally as awesome for food. Whether you're grabbing a smoothie before a day at Lodi Lake, enjoying a cozy coffee date, or planning a night out with friends, there's something here for every mood and every meal. I’ve created this guide based on years of exploring Lodi for girls’ trips, family weekends, and solo getaways. It pairs perfectly with my other guides like A Romantic Weekend in Lodi, A Kid-Friendly Weekend Getaway, Lodi Activities, and Lodi Wine Tasting.

Most of these places are just a short drive (or walk) from Lodi Landing, my cozy Airbnb that sleeps 10 and makes the perfect home base for exploring everything Lodi has to offer.

Breakfast in Lodi

I love going out for breakfast in Lodi or grabbing something quick from a local coffee shop. Every spot on this list is kid-tested and mother-approved by me.

Avenue Grill

This diner-style gem is right down the street from Lodi Landing. I love that they have mimosas on the menu. My go-to order is the breakfast sandwich with gluten-free bread—no mayo, lettuce, or tomato, but I add cheddar cheese. My other favorite? The carnitas quesadilla. It’s huge and absolutely to die for.

The Farm Café at Michael David WineryMenu

One of my favorite places to spend a whole morning. Attached to the Michael David Winery, this place has great food, wine tasting, flower picking, and a fun kids area. I recommend the huevos rancheros and the chicken and waffles. They also serve mimosas and nitro cold brew!

Java Stop

This place is owned by one of my great friends, Kelly Brown, and he puts so much care into sourcing the best beans and even the water quality. Their menu includes tons of inventive coffee and tea drinks, and their breakfast sandwiches and bagels are amazing. They also offer a gluten-free sourdough option, which makes the sandwiches extra allergen-friendly.

Brew House CoffeeMenu

Located downtown, Brew House serves up delicious breakfast burritos and pastries, and you can even order alcohol here. I love playing chess or checkers at the table with my son while waiting for our food.

Juice It Up!

Great for grabbing something fresh on your way to Lodi Lake or a full day of adventure. I always order the PB Cold Brew Mocha and add spinach to make it green. You can boost any smoothie with extras like energy, immunity, or probiotics.

Lunch in Lodi

These spots are perfect for a casual sit-down, takeout to enjoy at a local park, or bringing along to wineries that allow outside food (check out my full Lodi Wine Tasting guide for details on which ones do).

Cheese Central

One of my absolute favorite shops in town. You can taste the cheeses, and they have everything you need for a killer charcuterie board—crackers, salami, jams, and more. I often pick up supplies and head to a picnic at a winery or park.

Thai SpicesMenu

Tucked into an unassuming business plaza, this is hands-down the best Thai food in Lodi. Whether I’m grabbing takeout or enjoying a low-key lunch, the Pad Thai and Papaya Salad are my go-tos.

Habanero HotsMenu

A little off the beaten path but so worth it. The steak tacos are incredible, and the margaritas are strong and delicious. Super fun and flavorful.

Smack Pie PizzaMenu

Create your own personal wood-fired pizza with all your favorite toppings. I love adding grapes to mine for a sweet and salty combo—it’s surprisingly delicious and so fun for kids.

Dinner in Lodi

Dinner is my favorite meal to go out in Lodi—whether it’s a fun date night, live music and wine, or something fancier. There’s a perfect mix of cozy charm and elevated dining.

West Oak Nosh

This bistro has a trendy, modern vibe with amazing cocktails, rotating seasonal menus, and live music. It’s the perfect mix of fun and flavorful.

El PazcificoMenu

This is a solid go-to for flavorful Mexican food and festive cocktails. I love dining here with my son since they have both indoor and outdoor seating. It’s casual but always tasty and welcoming.

Papa Pavlo’sMenu

There are two locations, but I suggest the one in Lodi. They just expanded and now have a beautiful outdoor patio with fire pits. I usually order the steak and lobster and split it with a friend. Don’t miss the lemon soup and the coconut pie. I also love hanging out at the bar—the bartenders are awesome.

Town House Restaurant & Wine BarMenu

Located inside Wine & Roses resort, this place is a must if you’re doing a weekend getaway. The food is fancy but approachable, the cocktails are next level, and there’s often live piano music. You could spend an entire weekend at Wine & Roses and never leave.

Woodbridge CrossingMenu

A cozy, country-style steakhouse with a really fun bar and frequent live music. The vibe is warm and rustic. I always recommend the steak and baked potato. Great for romantic date nights or even with kids.

Market TavernMenu

This spot in Stockton’s Lincoln Center is a bit of a drive but absolutely worth it. I usually go with the daily fish special and one of their seasonal salads. The Botanist cocktail with vodka and fresh herbs is a must.

Pietro’s Italian RestaurantMenu

This is my number one favorite place to eat in Lodi. You’ll need a reservation because it’s always packed. The focaccia bread is not gluten-free but still 100% worth the indulgence. I always get the spaghetti and meatballs with gluten-free pasta. Everything I’ve ever had here has been exceptional.

M Sushi BistroMenu

The fanciest sushi spot in downtown Lodi. Beautiful presentation, incredible quality, and a top-tier sake list. Perfect for a special night out.

Sushi KomachiMenu

Located in a shopping plaza next to a grocery store, this is a hidden gem. The ingredients are fresh, the rolls are super creative, and everything I’ve tried here has been top-notch. Don’t let the location fool you—this place is amazing.
