What is so special about Joshua Tree?
I have wanted to go to Joshua Tree National Park for years. The first time I heard of it was in the movie Ingid Goes West. It’s a movie starring Aubrey Plaza (love that girl) where she stalks this influencer that has an Airbnb in Joshua Tree, so of course that caught my attention. Joshua Trees are a spiritual symbol of Joshua (the dude from the bible) throwing up his hands in prayer (the trees look like they are reaching upward to the sky.)
And then in 2019, I started going to Alt Summit in Palm Springs and all the ladies from that conference flooded Joshua Tree right after the conference. So in 2023, I vowed to go to Joshua Tree after I attended Alt Summit, and my dream came true.
Where should we stay in Joshua Tree?
I stayed at an amazing Airbnb named Casa Del Sol, a charming desert sanctuary that offers a perfect blend of relaxation and fun. My boyfriend Nate and I had a really romantic time.
The fully stocked kitchen allows you to prepare delicious home-cooked meals, while the backyard BBQ grill invites you to savor outdoor dining experiences. I whipped up a charcuterie plate while my boyfriend Nate grilled in the backyard. It was so cozy.

Soak in the hot tub, gather around the fire pit to roast marshmallows, or enjoy the therapeutic benefits of the barrel sauna during those cool desert evenings.
